I am a professional theatre set designer, working out of Boston, Massachusetts. I am also a professor of theatre at Suffolk University.
I have designed scenery throughout the Northeast for theatre companies and symphony orchestras. Premiers include plays by Derek Walcott, Russ Lees, Melinda Lopez and Robert Brustein, as well as the Off-Broadway premiers of Ronan Noone’s plays The Lepers of Baile Baiste, The Blowin of Baile Gall, and The Atheist.
I earned my MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where I received the Meir Award for design. I am the recipient of two Elliot Norton Awards and three Independent Reviewers of New England Awards, am a member of United Scenic Artists local 829, and have previously taught at New York University, Ithaca College and Boston University.
When I’m not in the theatre or teaching class, I’m spending time with my family or sailing my classic Sailstar Orion sailboat out of Beverly, MA.
